It is advisable to give the drive a short chain installation test run. We can find problems that exist and respond to it to improve its work efficiency. Reasons as followed:
1) To deliver regular oil to the chain
2) To eliminate any oil weeps from the chain set
3) To check for any unusual noise or vibration
Eliminating unrelated oil and delivering regular oil to the chain can decline the wastage. If you can hear unusual noise or vibration during testing run, there may be problems in installation, such as out of alignment or unsuitable loose side sagging, or even the type is not match. Then check the installation and find the real reason. According to reason, adjust the chain or choose the right type or other responds. These all can be resolved by chain installation test run.
