Regular chain maintenance is important. Chain in a correctly sized and installed drive can be expected to last for 18 months. We arranged schedule and key points that should be pay attention to during the maintenance.
The maintenance schedule is suggested as follows:
1) After 100 days
A Check chain adjustment and rectify if possible
B Change oil, oil filter and clear the sump
2) Annually
A Carry out the above checks;
B Check for chain elongation;
C Check for wear on side plates;
D Check clean of components. remove any accumulation of dirt or foreign materials;
E Check for sprocket and shaft alignment;
F Check for wear on sprockets;
G Check the lubrication system:
feed pipes are not clogged
drip rate is sufficient
oil level is correct
pump is working
